The primary trade union organization of students of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute under the Charter of the Trade Union works at the university in the following areas: organizational and mass work, the social and legal protection, rehabilitation and recreation, housing and household work, cultural and sports activities, the committee of public control and general questions.
Throughout most of October, students who are not indifferent to sports competed in competitions in six sports disciplines as part of the KPI Spartakiad. This was the second university sports day after a long break due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the beginning of a full-scale war.
Students and employees of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute held another action in support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. It was organized by the university's student trade union.
This open chess tournament, which took place at the end of November, was attended by 125 participants from 12 universities - and this is the largest number compared to similar chess competitions at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.
Recently, the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute hosted a sports competition dedicated to the 125th anniversary of the university. The Spartakiad was held in five disciplines: bowling, streetball, chess, volleyball and mini-football.
In the second competition of the Student Spartakiad, 14 teams competed for the winning strike.
Bowling has already become a traditional sport of the Spartakiad - polytechnics have been playing it since 2013.

On the first day, 66 participants from 22 faculties competed for the chess championship. The tournament is held according to the Swiss system in 7 rounds.
This is just the beginning - next, the participants will compete in bowling, volleyball, mini-football and streetball.

More than 5,000 trench candles made by students, lecturers and employees of the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, as well as caring residents of Kyiv during the day of December 3-4, will warm the defenders of our state at the frontline. This is a record for Ukraine.
